An agent already vouches for you. Hootova sends that to everyone they know.
You're on some real estate agent's short list, the name they give out when a client asks who to call. Hootova takes that same recommendation and puts it in front of every client that agent has ever worked with, all year, under the agent's name. The work arrives free. You're not billed until your customer tells us you did the job.
The agent's word, going to more than one person at a time.
Right now an agent recommends you the way it has always worked. A client asks who to call about the peeling trim on the front porch, and the agent gives them your name. That happens a handful of times a year, whenever your trade happens to come up.
Hootova is a marketing service for real estate agents. It gives an agent a page with their name and face at the top and the local businesses they actually trust underneath, you among them. Then it writes and sends things to that agent's whole client base, all year, under the agent's name, with your business in them. The agent doesn't write any of it. Neither do you.
There are two moments where this shows up for you. The first is while a house is being listed: the seller needs the trim painted, the carpets cleaned, and the photos shot before it goes online, and the agent is lining all of that up in the same couple of weeks. The second is every year after the sale, when the water heater goes on a Sunday and that homeowner needs somebody they can trust. Both come through the same page, with the same name on them.
Same recommendation. Same person making it. It just stops depending on whether the agent happens to be standing in the room.
It's not a stranger. It's somebody who already trusts the person who sent them.
You know what a bought lead is worth. Fifty to a hundred dollars for a name, four calls to get one back, and half of them were never going to hire anybody.
This is the opposite of that in every direction. The person calling got your name from someone they spent months trusting through the biggest purchase of their life. They aren't collecting three quotes. They already decided.
And every job says who sent it. When a client asks for you through the page, we tell you the agent's name before you ever pick up the phone, and the client knows that you know. That's what makes this work worth showing up on time for. The agent hears how the job went, and can take any business off their page whenever they want, for any reason. That isn't a rule we enforce. It's the same reason you already take good care of the people they send you.
What being recommended through Hootova actually involves.
-
The agent adds you.
You don't build anything, write a profile, or manage a listing. The agent puts you on their page because they already send you work. If you want to be on it, that conversation is with them.
-
Hootova markets you all year, at no cost to you.
We write what goes out and send it to that agent's client base under the agent's name. If you've got something worth telling people (a slow month you'd like to fill, twenty percent off Saturdays, a kind of job you want more of), tell us and it goes in.
-
The work comes straight to you.
When a client wants you, we send you their name, their number, what they need, and which agent sent them. Immediately, free, with nothing in front of it. You call them and run the job exactly the way you always have. We're not in the middle of it and we don't take a booking.
-
We text the customer afterward.
One question: did the work happen. Their answer is what tells the agent how it went, and it's the only thing you're ever billed on.
You don't pay us until your customer tells us you did the work.
Every job that comes to you through the page arrives free. All of them, handed straight over, nothing gated and nothing held back behind a fee. You never pay to find out who wants you.
Afterward, we text that customer and ask whether they worked with you. If they say yes, that's when you're billed for that job: one charge, on work that already happened, out of money you have already collected. If they don't say yes, you're not billed. If the job never came, there's nothing to bill.
What a confirmed job costs is settled before you're ever listed. You'll have that number in writing from the person who signs you up, and nothing goes live until you've agreed to it.
No monthly fee, no contract, no exclusivity
Nothing to cancel and nothing to renew. If it never produces for you, it never costs you anything.
Never billed for a job the agent hands you directly
If they call you themselves the way they always have, that stays between you and them. We bill for work our marketing caused, and nothing else.
You're paid before we are
The charge comes after the job is done and confirmed, so there's no month where you're out money waiting to see if it works.
“That agent already sends me work for free. Why would I pay for it now?”
You wouldn't, and that doesn't change. Keep taking those calls. You will never see a bill for one.
What you'd be paying for is the part that doesn't exist right now. An agent recommending you in person is a handful of jobs a year, whenever your trade comes up in conversation. Hootova puts you in front of that agent's entire client base (everyone they have ever sold a house to) on an ongoing basis, under a name those people already trust. That's the marketing, and it's the only part you're billed for. Only after it works.
Hootova works with everyday trades: painters, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, landscapers, house cleaners, carpet cleaners, pest control, photographers, and stagers. Nothing tied to a closing, ever. Agents are paid by Hootova for the size of the audience they've built, never for sending work to one particular business, and every agent's page says so in plain language where their clients can read it.
An agent already gives out your name. Let's make it count.
If an agent has mentioned Hootova to you, they've most likely already added you. Send us a note and we'll walk you through exactly what a confirmed job costs and what happens next. It's a five-minute conversation.
